Egypt has 50 opportunities for Qatar investors

According to Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Qatari investors have the option to participate in more than 50 investment projects in Egypt.

“GAFI is prepared to help Qataris willing to invest in Egypt and inform them on the available opportunities and streamline procedures to commence their projects in a short time,” Abdel Wahab said during his meeting with Khalifa Bin Jassim Al-Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce, in Doha, Qatar’s capital.

The officials reviewed the potential in both nations as well as strategies to attract Qatari investment in Egypt during the discussion. According to Abdel Wahab, his administration is providing “significant incentives to attract investors, especially in the country’s free zones.”

The Egyptian official encouraged Qatari company owners to attend the Arab Investment Forum, which will take place in September.
