Zwipe targets ME with QPS payment cards partnership

Zwipe is joining forces with another payments provider to accelerate the launch of biometric payment cards in the region.

This new Zwipe ally is Que Processing Services (QPS). Both firms will work together to reach and serve innovative solutions to the card markets in Asia and the Middle East.

As part of efforts towards this goal, QPS will be issuing cards that feature Zwipe’s Pay ONE biometric platform. Pay ONE utilizes fingerprint sensors from IDEX Biometrics, enabling users with a Pay ONE-powered card to validate their purchases using fingerprint recognition instead of a PIN.

Both Zwipe and QPS believe that this new offering presents people with an opportunity to add even more safety and seamlessness to their payment process.

This alliance will make for a streamlined rollout of the new payment cards and will help QPS’ agenda to become recognized as a notable contender in the Middle East.

The firm’s physical and virtual card services are already available across several countries spread across the region.

“Partnering with well-known next-generation payment processors such as QPS will be instrumental in accelerating the deployment of biometric payment cards to consumers and banks,” added Zwipe MENA General Manager Ramzi Saboury.
