Zwipe partners for faster biometric payment card


Zwipe has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi-headquartered NymCard to launch biometric payment cards in the Middle East and Africa.

The partnership will ramp up the deployment of biometric payment cards in the region, according to an official publication.

NymCard’s core mission is to provide seamless, fast, and reliable card issuance and payments processing services, using a Banking-as-a-Service model. 

Using APIs and other innovative technologies, Zwipe facilitates to carries out various financial requests in record time.

NymCard serves clients from various sectors and industries, including the gig economy, buy now pay later services, youth banking, and corporate expense card providers across the MEA region. The firm is also looking at expanding its market into Asia and Europe.

Under this collaboration, Zwipe will provide commercialization support, expertise and technical assistance for NymCard’s integration of Zwipe Pay ONE biometric technology in cards produced by Zwipe-certified partners in the region. Both firms will begin working together on joint issuer deals this month.
