Visa and Ascenda partner on loyalty and rewards

Visa, the renowned global leader in digital payments, has announced a new partnership in Asia Pacific. The said alliance with Ascenda will see clients in the region enjoying Ascenda’s latest loyalty technology solutions.

This partnership will also make Visa the first payments network in the world to leverage Ascenda’s new Nexus platform, which will allow Visa’s partners access to rich new rewards programs to offer to their customers.

People continue to change the way they shop and eCommerce players are also learning various means to retain their customers. With the Visa-Ascenda collaboration, card issuers, including traditional lenders and fintechs, can seamlessly offer rewards programs in a lesser lead-time than usual. 

Ascenda’s digital rewards portal will also feature offers and promotions from leading merchants through Visa Offers Exchange and Ascenda’s global network.

Based on the access Ascenda now has to Visa’s state-of-the-art API services, it can authenticate customers securely and figure out payment transactions that qualify for rewards – requiring little or no action from the issuer.
