UAE and Pakistan look forward to stronger trade ties


According to top officials, the UAE and Pakistan are trying to enhance their economic connections, with a particular focus on investment potential in Sindh province, particularly in the areas of technology and sustainability.

Officials from both countries discussed how the Sindh province, which has a deep-sea port connecting it to the Arabian Sea, has a significant investment potential for the UAE and GCC countries, at the Sindh Investment Conference in Dubai.

The province also has the potential to promote UAE-Pakistan bilateral trade, investment, and tourism.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, presided over the event, which was attended by a number of dignitaries including Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Murad Ali Shah, Sindh’s chief minister; and Afzaal Mahmood, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE.
