As the Europe-based fintech leader continues its global expansion, financial technology company FIS® (NYSE: FIS) has announced that global fintech SumUp will leverage Worldpay’s merchant solutions portfolio.
SumUp, established in London, serves over 3.5 million merchants in over 30 countries. Small businesses and entrepreneurs can use a variety of card readers and different remote payment methods, such as invoices, gift cards, and payment links, to manage their operations and pay simply, easily, and securely.
FIS’s worldwide scale and advanced acquisition services, which include authorisation, clearing and settlement, dispute management, and data analytics, will be used by the financial technology business. SumUp will benefit from the relationship as it expands into new areas and provides seamless payment experiences.
