SocGen reinforces APAC infrastructure division


In Asia-Pacific, Société Générale has announced new hires in its natural resources and infrastructure group.

Lan Yang has been named the region’s new director of natural resources and infrastructure. She reports to Stephanie Clement de Givry, Asia-Pacific head of global banking and advisory, and Federico Turegano, global head of natural resources and infrastructure, both in Hong Kong.

Stephen Krust has been named the new leader of the region’s energy group. He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Yang and Olivier Musset, the global head of energy.

In addition to her existing position as head of infrastructure in Asia-Pacific and Australia, Marie Vinnell has been named head of natural resources and infrastructure for Australia. She reports to Yang and Pascal Sefrin, the country head of Australia.

Yang will lead the activities of the energy group, the infrastructure group, the mining, metals and industries group, and the trade & commodity finance group in her new role, which she will continue to expand for the bank’s natural resources & infrastructure business in Asia-Pacific.
