Scotiabank partners with Google Cloud

Scotiabank and Google Cloud have issued a release announcing its new partnership to further grow the lender’s cloud-first promise and also to ramp up its global data and analytics strategy.

As a Scotiabank trusted cloud partner for data and analytics, Google Cloud will assist the bank in setting up a more personal and predictive banking experience for Scotiabank customers in the Americas and globally.

“By incorporating Google Cloud ‘s innovative data, analytics, and AI solutions, we’ll be able to attract new talent across the globe, continue our momentum, and further accelerate our high impact, customer-focused initiatives,” said Phil Thomas, Executive Vice President, Customer Insights, Data & Analytics, Scotiabank.

This alliance comes on the heels of the giant strides Scotiabank has made on its cloud strategy over the past fewyears.

By transferring its customer data onto Google Cloud and leveraging its leading data analytics and AI solutions, Scotiabank will be able to leverage data for predictive offers, improve customer interactions through AI, and unify data silos across the organization.
