Saudi-Bahraini committee talk energy and trade

The Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council recently convened its economy, energy, trade, and industry committee to explore opportunities for enhancing joint bilateral cooperation. In its third meeting, conducted virtually, the committee was co-chaired by Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, and Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the committee’s key initiatives and their implementation methods, seeking ways to strengthen economic collaboration and achieve mutual interests. The Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, established in July 2019, oversees and facilitates cooperation and joint efforts between the two kingdoms.

The Council’s primary objective is to foster regular and sustainable institutional work to elevate cooperation across various domains, including politics, economy, security, military, investment, culture, and development. Through such strategic collaborations, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain aim to bolster their ties and realise shared benefits for both nations.
