Royal Bank names Nadine Ahn as chief financial officer


Royal Bank of Canada has announced that Nadine Ahn will be taking over as the bank’s next chief financial officer. 

Ahn wh, at this time, serves as the senior vice-president, head of investor relations, and RBC Capital Markets Finance will be Rod Bolger’s replacement starting Nov. 1.

Bolger who will partner with Ahn to ensure a smooth transition to her new role as CFO is leaving RBC after 10 years with the bank. Since joining RBC in 1999, Ahn has held various senior finance roles, including in corporate treasury and RBC Capital Markets Finance.

RBC also announced the appointment of Maria Douvas, who is currently the executive vice-president and general counsel as the chief legal officer, effective immediately. 

In her new role, Douvas will report directly to CEO Dave McKay and also join the Royal Bank of Canada’s group executive committee.
