Republic Bank taps Caribbean Export Development Agency

To boost Trinidad and Tobago’s export potential, Republic Bank has teamed with the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA).

This arrangement will help Republic Bank’s corporate and commercial clients, according to a press release from the bank, because they will receive expertise and exposure through CEDA’s virtual and in-person training. The following are the details from Republic Bank’s news release:

Republic Bank and the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) announced a cooperation today with the goal of enhancing the export potential and capabilities of SMEs and larger businesses in Trinidad and Tobago.

This collaboration is based on the principles of private sector sustainability and initiatives to strengthen regional integration in the Caribbean through business-to-business interactions.

Republic’s corporate and commercial clients will benefit from the agreement because CEDA’s virtual and in-person training, mentoring, and specialized workshops on topics such as cost and financial management, export marketing, and facilitating trade in services will provide them with knowledge and exposure.
