QINVEST, a leader in Qatar’s investment banking sector, has issued a public statement announcing the decision of the board to appoint Mr. Hussain Abdulla and Mr. Hussein Fakhreddine as new Co-CEOs of the bank.
The former CEO, Mr. Tamim Al Kuwari has resigned from the position but will stay on for a while to ensure an ordered and seamless transition process. He will also remain on the firm’s board, to contribute to the firm’s strategic expansion plans.
The Deputy CEO Mr. Michael Katounas has also announced that he is resigning from his post with immediate effect.

Mr. Abdulla and Mr. Fakhreddine bring with them the knowledge and expertise acquired over 22 years of combined experience at QINVEST and over 30 years of experience in the financial sector.
