Nuvei taps Curve for digital wallet innovations

Curve, a financial super app that consolidates various financial products and services into one platform, has partnered with Canadian fintech firm Nuvei Corporation to optimise card payments and introduce alternative payment methods (APMs) for its digital wallet. This partnership is aimed at enhancing customer experience, reducing operational costs, and accelerating expansion plans.

Nuvei’s payment technology will enable Curve to accept both VISA and Mastercard transactions, using a smart routing engine to maximise card payment acceptance while minimising operational costs. Curve users will gain access to relevant APMs in the markets where Curve operates.

Additionally, Curve will leverage Nuvei’s real-time reporting tools, providing a comprehensive analytics portal to monitor all transactions. This feature is essential for the financial services sector, allowing effective payment traffic routing and optimisation of payment flows.

Curve’s CEO, Shachar Bialick, emphasised the importance of customer experience in their service and highlighted how Nuvei’s global reach would accelerate Curve’s international growth without compromising payment optimisation.

Nuvei’s technology provides card-acquiring services, allowing Curve to process Visa and Mastercard transactions seamlessly. It also offers access to various APMs in each market where Curve operates, accommodating global payment preferences. The smart routing feature optimises the path of card transactions, maximising acceptance rates while minimising costs.

This partnership aims to enhance Curve’s payment business, improving the customer experience and expanding its reach in the financial services market.
