Nuvei Corporation Appoints Gang Wang as CTO

Canadian payments firm Nuvei Corporation has appointed Gang Wang as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Wang will lead Nuvei’s global technology team, working alongside former CTO Max Attias, who now serves as Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Wang brings over 25 years of experience in the payments and software sectors, having held senior technology roles at Intuit and Stripe. At Nuvei, he will oversee technology strategy, research, and architecture. This leadership restructuring aims to scale Nuvei’s technology offering and lay a strong foundation for future growth.

Under Max’s leadership, our total payments volume grew nearly fivefold from 2020 to 2023. With Max and Gang, we now have two world-class operators ready to elevate Nuvei’s technology capabilities and accelerate our global revenue growth.”
