NexGen Networks to use Equinix solution

Equinix, a provider of digital infrastructure, has expanded its partnership with NexGen Networks, a developer of fiber optic-based network solutions, to address growing capacity demand from services organizations and worldwide enterprises.

According to Equinix, a fixed network deployment model with large up-front costs and extended deployment durations is no longer viable.

Financial institutions are enjoying cost savings and flexibility by embracing the cloud for a greater range of applications, including business-critical activities like trading moves, according to the report.

NexGen claims that the expansion would help its customers connect to business partners all around the world by utilizing secure cloud connectivity. NexGen Networks is already working with Equinix in Ashburn, Virginia, Brazil, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, SPaulo, Tokyo, and Toronto.

Customers will be able to link their corporate IT infrastructure to global cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud via Equinix Fabric for a high-performance solution and enhanced user experience, according to NexGen.
