NADB open for public comments on new projects to finance

The North American Development Bank (NADB) has opened up to the public for comments and suggestions from stakeholders who have an interest in recommending projects that may serve the bank’s plans to broaden the scope of its investment in environmental infrastructure projects along the U.S-Mexico border region.

The organization has put a time cap in place, allowing public comments strictly during a 30-day window, between June 1st and July 1st, 2021, after which the portal will be closed to public comments

This decision comes on the heel of the last meeting of the lender’s Board of Directors held in May, where the board instructed the management to submit its proposal for public comments.

It is one of the bank’s core missions to contribute its quota to the preservation, protection and enhancement of  the environment in that particular region, with the hope that these moves cause significant improvement to the quality of life of citizens of the two countries.

Expanding the operations of NADB into new environmental infrastructure projects will ensure that the firm’s capital, which was just doubled by both federal authorities, can be effectively deployed toward the mission for which it was primarily released.
