Moneythor Appoints Former Temenos MD as New CEO

Singapore-based fintech Moneythor has announced the appointment of former Temenos Managing Director Martin Frick as its new CEO, with co-founder Olivier Berthier transitioning to the role of chairman. The leadership change reflects the company’s ongoing growth and expansion efforts, with Frick expected to oversee Moneythor’s continued trajectory.

Berthier, who co-founded Moneythor in 2013, assumes the role of chairman after more than 11 years as CEO. In his new capacity, he will guide the company’s long-term vision and strategic direction. Commenting on the transition via LinkedIn, Berthier cited Frick’s “wealth of experience” and track record of “driving organisational success” as key factors in his appointment.

Frick brings a strong background in the fintech industry to his new role. Before joining Moneythor, he co-founded and served as CEO of Singapore-based software developer Force For Good. Additionally, he has held managing director positions in the Asia-Pacific region at Temenos and Avaloq.

Moneythor’s recent growth has attracted attention from major financial institutions. The fintech was tapped by India’s Axis Bank to deploy its personalisation engine to provide tailored insights to customers and enhance engagement. The company’s focus on advanced technology and customer-centric solutions has positioned it as a key player in the evolving fintech landscape.

As CEO, Frick will lead Moneythor’s efforts to strengthen its market presence and continue its expansion into new regions. With Berthier’s guidance as chairman, the company is expected to maintain its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction as it enters the next phase of growth.
