MoneyGram picks new CPO


MoneyGram International, a leading global financial technology company, has announced the appointment of Jillian Slagter as its Chief People Officer (CPO). This strategic move is designed to drive the transformation of MoneyGram’s human resources and people operations, aligning them with the company’s strategic growth and digital advancement initiatives.

In her new role, Slagter, a seasoned human resources leader, will play a pivotal part in enhancing MoneyGram’s internal infrastructure for sustained success. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she will report directly to Alex Holmes, MoneyGram’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Effective December 11, 2023, Slagter’s appointment underscores MoneyGram’s commitment to fostering a dynamic corporate culture to support its global operations. The company operates as a major player in the financial technology sector, facilitating money movement and management across nearly every country globally. With a range of fintech solutions, MoneyGram empowers millions of consumers and businesses annually, offering seamless money transfers, including crypto transactions, through its cutting-edge app.

MoneyGram’s innovative cross-border platform allows direct fund transfers into bank accounts, mobile wallets, or cash-in and cash-out services in over 135 currencies and numerous cryptocurrencies. This is facilitated through one of the world’s largest cash distribution networks.

Jillian Slagter brings a wealth of experience to MoneyGram, having previously served as the Chief Human Resources and Administrative Officer at CURO Group Holdings Corp (“CURO”). Her track record includes leadership roles in human resources across various global businesses, where she successfully aligned people practices with business objectives, driving positive results.
