Ebanx buys Brazilian B2B fintech Juno

Ebanx is one of the most prominent financial technology firms, known for its innovative payment solutions in Latin America.

The firm issued a statement today announcing that it has completed the acquisition of Juno, a Brazilian payment solutions provider renowned as a leading player in the eCommerce and banking sectors.

Juno has been in the sector for a very long time, over the course of which it has brought on over 35,000 small and medium enterprises as B2B clients in Brazil. All these firms use its billing and payments offerings, including its digital account Conta Juno.

This acquisition of Juno’s by EBANX is driven primarily by a US$430 million Series C funding round closed by EBANX in June. That round was led by Advent International.

Juno is EBANX’s second major investment following its purchase of shares in the Brazilian Banco Topázio, which is currently working on upgrading the firms’s foreign exchange operations.

“We are honored to have them on board, to provide Brazilian companies and consumers with broadened access to the very best payment solutions,” said João Del Valle, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of EBANX.
