Deus X taps Fabiano Consulting for Bitcoin Investment

Specialist investment firm Deus X has joined forces with Fabiano Consulting to explore investment and strategic possibilities within the bitcoin (BTC) mining sector. The collaboration aims to serve as investors and treasury management providers for mining companies in need of funding and strategic guidance, encompassing expansion and corporate structuring.

Deus X, led by CEO Tim Grant and backed by a family office with $1 billion in assets, seeks to diversify its portfolio by actively participating in the mining sector. Grant, with a background that includes roles such as Head of EMEA at Galaxy Digital and CEO of SIX Digital Exchange, expressed the importance of mining in their portfolio, emphasising a commitment to finding innovative businesses that contribute to a financial system free of silos and characterised by low entry barriers.

Fabiano Consulting, established last year by Amanda Fabiano, former head of mining at Galaxy Digital and director of bitcoin mining at Fidelity Investments, brings expertise in cryptocurrency financial services.

The partnership between Deus X and Fabiano Consulting aligns with the growing challenges faced by bitcoin mining companies, especially in anticipation of the upcoming bitcoin halving event, where BTC rewards for mining will be halved. To navigate this competitive landscape, mining firms are actively seeking strategic advice and funding to ensure their continued profitability post-halving.
