Citylitics Raises US$5M in Series A Funding

Citylitics, a supplier of an analytics platform for planned infrastructure improvements based in Toronto, Canada, has raised $5 million in Series A funding.

Dallas Venture Capital and Cerium Technology Ventures led the investment, which also included Klister and GCI. Cerium and Dallas Venture Capital partners will join the Citylitics board of directors concurrently with the fundraising round.

The money will be used to quadruple the company’s sales, marketing, customer success, and engineering teams, as well as to grow into additional infrastructure verticals across North America and further develop its data pipelines and platform functionality.

Citylitics provides an intelligence platform for essential infrastructure needs and planned investments in cities across North America, led by CEO Ahmed Badruddin. Its data platform enables infrastructure market stakeholders – such as manufacturers, suppliers, engineering, investment, and consulting firms – to identify and pursue sales opportunities by providing reliable, meaningful, and predictive insights on infrastructure plans, decisions, and market activity.
