Bank of Singapore hires Ranjit Khanna


Bank of Singapore announced on Wednesday that Ranjit Khanna, a former Union Bancaire Privée banker, will be joining the bank as its Global Market Head of Middle East and CEO of its Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) branch.

The appointment will take effect on April 3, subject to regulatory approval. Khanna, who was previously the Head of the South Asia region and NRI clients for the Swiss private bank, will also become a member of the bank’s management committee and report to Bank of Singapore CEO Jason Moo.

Alexandre Lotfi, the current CEO of the DIFC branch, will return to Singapore to take on the role of the Global Chief Risk Officer of the bank, while Vikram Malhotra, who was responsible for business growth at the DIFC branch, will now take on the role of the Global Market Head of South Asia, overseeing the NRI segment.
