The collaboration will develop solutions in five areas: ultra-fast charger architectures, AI-driven energy management and predictive maintenance, integration with solar and storage, megawatt charging for heavy-duty and commercial EVs, and cloud-based charger scheduling, creating a comprehensive platform for advanced EV infrastructure innovation.
By combining Shell’s global energy and e-mobility experience with SINEXCEL’s hardware and power electronics expertise, the lab aims to accelerate R&D, conduct pilot testing, and prepare technologies for commercial deployment. This partnership signals the strategic importance of collaborative innovation in addressing technical and operational barriers to large-scale EV charging networks.
