Emirates NBD, a Dubai-based banking group, has entered into a strategic partnership with Silent Eight, an anti-financial crime platform based in Singapore. The collaboration aims to elevate compliance automation by leveraging Silent Eight's advanced AI and machine-learning platform, particularly in automating financial transaction screening investigations.

Emirates NBD anticipates that this partnership will enhance its financial crime prevention measures by automating the alert screening investigation process. Silent Eight's solution is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and auditability in the bank's compliance operations. Successful implementation of Silent Eight's technology is projected to reduce operational expenses, decrease reliance on human investigators, and enhance customer satisfaction by addressing delays and information requests caused by false positive alerts.

The partnership follows a successful proof of value, during which Silent Eight's solution underwent testing on alerts generated by Emirates NBD's screening system. Victor Matafonov, Group Chief Compliance Officer at Emirates NBD, expressed confidence in Silent Eight's IRIS module, stating that it will bring significant value to the bank and enable faster and improved services for customers. The collaboration aligns with Emirates NBD's vision of becoming a digital leader in the region and its commitment to adopting world-class technologies for enhanced risk management capabilities and operational efficiency.
