Bank Audi, Lebanon's largest bank, has introduced a new digital banking service, Neo by Bank Audi, marking the country's first neobank.

Neo's initial offerings include dual-currency bank accounts in both US dollars and Lebanese pounds, physical and virtual debit cards, bill payment management tools, and QR code-enabled transfers. These services are accessible through Neo's dedicated app and supported by Bank Audi’s ATM network across Lebanon. Users can access ATM services using physical cards or generate vouchers within the app to deposit and withdraw cash.

Neo’s website hints at future expansions, including a rewards-linked credit card and digital insurance products, both labelled as "coming soon."

The digital bank is powered by UAE-based Codebase Technologies’ Digibanc platform, which also helped introduce Wink Pay to Lebanon in May. Other key players involved in the launch include Lebanese paytech Areeba, identity solutions provider IDWise, A2P messaging platform Infobip, and ITG’s fintech arm Cirrus.

Codebase Technologies describes Neo as "the oasis of change in Lebanon," emphasising its focus on convenience, accessibility, and affordability for Lebanese users.
