Visa launches several ‘Bitcoin Cashback’ Cards

The world’s largest payments company, Visa, has introduced its first crypto cards in Latin America. Through a number of new partner companies, it will also introduce its new offerings in Brazil and Argentina.

According to the news source Expansión, Visa has “announced an alliance” with a number of fintech firms and IT startups in Brazil and Argentina that will allow “users to make transactions” with Visa cards – and earn cryptocurrency cashbacks each time they do.

The company said in a statement that the action includes recently launched cryptocurrency card programmes and partnerships with fintech suppliers and cryptocurrency exchange startups in the area.

The incentive comes soon after prior, comparable crypto-related engagement from Visa in the area. Late last year, the business introduced a Visa card that gives users a 2 percent bitcoin (BTC) return when they use the card to make purchases. The card was launched in collaboration with the Argentinian cryptocurrency exchange Lemon Cash.

A prepaid Visa Lemon Cash card is also being introduced in Argentina by Visa. Another Argentinian cryptocurrency trading platform, Satoshi Tango, is also a part of its new partnership agreements. Additionally, Visa-branded Crypto.com cards will soon be available in the country.
