The East to Med Data Corridor (EMC), an undersea and land fibre optic data line that will connect Europe and Asia, is being built by the Greek telecom TSSA in collaboration with the Mena Hub, a leading digital hub situated in Saudi Arabia and owned by the STC Group.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the new project demonstrates STC’s intention to supply markets in Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world with ever-increasing global connectivity and data centre capacity through Saudi Arabia, which is geographically located at the centre of these important economies (SPA).
It also exemplifies the STC group’s evolution into a digital business and the increasing scale, scope, and speed of that transformation as it develops a globally renowned full digital eco-system.
Businesses must be able to offer all facets of this world in order to benefit both themselves and the customers and clients they serve as the global connection between people and businesses accelerates.
