Slate Asset Management Acquires Presima

Presima Inc. a Montreal-based asset manager specialising in international real estate securities has been acquired by Slate Asset Management, a global alternative investment platform focusing on real assets, as previously disclosed (the “Transaction”).

Slate’s investment management division now has an additional $1.1 billion in assets as a result of the Transaction, which was first disclosed in May 2022. Presima is a specialised investment manager with a 20-year track record of success in real estate investing on the open market.

Over the course of more than two decades, Presima has expanded its in-house platform, which is supported by a seasoned investment team, to encompass a number of international investment solutions meant to cater to a variety of client demands.

Concentrated relative strategies, as well as mandates focusing on yield and enhanced yield, are all part of the company’s extensive capabilities in global REITs. The company has a nearly ten-year track record in environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) incorporation and mandates, in addition to managing real assets and listed infrastructure portfolios.
