Diversis Capital Management, LP is a private equity firm based out of Los Angeles. The firm specializes in investing in software and technology-enabled services organizations.
Diversis today announced that that it has completed Diversis Capital Partners II, L.P, having raised US$675 million in only three months after the official opening of the fund.
The fund was oversubscribed, surpassing the US$500 million target set at the start. The fund also drew commitment from a vastly diverse crop of global investors, whose participation helped the fund exceed its first fund which closed at US$255 million in 2019.
The latest fund is part of Diversis’s efforts to make operationally focused control private equity investments available to lower middle-market companies.
The fund was led by Co-founders and Managing Partners Ron Nayot and Kevin Ma. Diversis’s Fund II, in disbursing its investments, will prioritize North America-based businesses, while also adding some others from Europe and Australia.
The goal is to identify firms that desire genuine long-term partnerships on both capital and operational expertise.
Diversis Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Kevin Ma, said, “our entire team is grateful and proud that we were able to exceed our target and complete our fund-raise in a relatively short period of time and we want to thank our new and existing limited partners for their support and vote of confidence.”
