CIBC taps MX for new client solutions

Today it was revealed that CIBC and MX had entered into a data access agreement to improve the client experience through secure data exchange, giving customers a simple and secure way to communicate their financial data.

The 11 million customers of CIBC won’t have to divulge their login information to third-party fintech services that collaborate with MX, like personal financial management, budgeting, and credit-building tools, thanks to application programme interface (API) technology.

This partnership with MX demonstrates CIBC’s dedication to innovation and will support cutting-edge digital client experiences.

Some CIBC clients utilise third-party programmes to assist them to get a full picture of their finances and can aid in budgeting and planning, but it’s not always simple to combine account data from various financial services providers for assessment.

Clients will have easier access to the financial data they require thanks to this partnership with MX, giving them more control over their money.
