Bank Muscat makes Forbes’ Top 100 listed firms


In acknowledgement of its leadership and accomplishments, Forbes Middle East has named Bank Muscat, the Sultanate’s largest provider of financial services, one of the Top 100 Listed Companies in the Middle East for 2022.

The Bank came out on top among Omani businesses in the esteemed listing, which was created using information gathered by Forbes Middle East from stock exchanges in the Arab world that list companies, and ranks businesses according to their reported market value, sales, assets, and profits for 2021.

Companies from the energy and financial services industries in the region dominated this year’s list to a large extent. In the Sultanate’s banking and financial services industry over the past 40 years, Bank Muscat, which will mark its 40th anniversary in 2022, has consistently shown its dominance.

One of the key Omani institutions advancing the growth of the Sultanate’s economy and human resources is Bank Muscat at the moment. The listing reaffirms the bank’s leadership position in Oman, which is founded on a solid customer-centric strategy, sustainability efforts, and a commitment to overall excellence.
