Arab Tunisian Bank banks on Temenos’ fintech solution

The Temenos core banking system has gone online at Arab Tunisian Bank (ATB), a mid-sized universal bank that caters to retail, SME, and corporate customers.

ATB has 1,300 employees and 134 branches throughout Tunisia. It is a member of the Arab Bank Group, one of the biggest financial organisations in the Middle East. According to FinTech Futures, the project got underway in 2019 after ATB agreed to work with the banking technology vendor on a wide range of front-to-back office solutions.

The company’s regional implementation partner, Information Technology Solutions and Services, finished the first phase, which concentrated on the retail and corporate business lines (ITSS). It includes transferring retail and corporate accounts to the Temenos platform as well as Temenos Banking Capabilities for Accounts, Lending, Deposits, and Financial Crime Mitigation.

“This go-live is a major step forward in the bank’s strategic roadmap and to further develop the digital transformation,” comments Ahmed Rjiba, CEO of ATB.
